Set against the bustling backdrop of Mumbai, 55 follows the journey of a young boy marked by a tattoo of the number “55” on his arm, symbolizing his indebtedness to his boss. After years of petty thefts and street heists, his life takes a turn when he encounters the daughter of one of his victims. This meeting sets him on a path of self-discovery and moral conflict, challenging his survival instincts and sense of duty.
55 is an orphaned pickpocket in Mumbai, moving through the streets like a shadow. When fate forces him to confront the daughter of one of his victims, the game changes. He must decide to be more than a number in a city of 20 million.
